The payoff of this all is that you get your entire deck in your graveyard as well as a few random cards in hand from draws whenever you dredge a land. The way this combo works is that you have The Gitrog and the discard enabler on board, while you also have Dakmor in hand, and discarding Dakmor for free, triggering The Gitrog’s ability and replacing the draw with Dakmor’s dredge ability to return it to your hand so that it may be discarded again and dredge as many times as you want. In the case of EDH/Commander color restrictions, the main cards used for this slot would be Putrid Imp, Skirge Familiar, Noose Constrictor, Olivia’s Dragoon, Oblivion Crown, and Wild Mongrel. The first card is of course, The Gitrog itself, alongside Dakmor Salvage, and any card that lets you discard for free. The cards required for the combo to go off are not that bad and limited in number like any other good combo. The Gitrog Monster combo sticks out among the other well-known combos for its oddities. In specific, the infinite combo revolving around the Shadows Over Innistrad card, The Gitrog Monster. Hello everyone, today I will be going over one of my favorite parts of Magic The Gathering: infinite combos.
